This page provides natural gas suppliers interested in becoming eligible to serve customers in the NJNG service territory with the required and optional forms to download, print, complete and submit to NJNG.
The required forms include a supplier application and a marketer and broker service agreement. Suppliers must return completed forms to NJNG as a prerequisite to becoming eligible to serve customers in our service territory.
The optional forms include an agreement for billing and collection services that should be completed only if a supplier is interested in utility consolidated billing. Financial forms can also be found here – NJNG requires suppliers to meet certain credit requirements and provide either a corporate guaranty, surety bond or cash deposit.

When it has been determined that you meet the eligibility criteria, NJNG will send you a letter stating that you have been added to our list of eligible suppliers. You will also receive a copy of any executed agreements.
In addition to the forms that NJNG requires, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) requires all energy suppliers who conduct business in the state of New Jersey to be licensed. More information on state licensing can be obtained through the BPU Web site.
Eligible suppliers can access Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) information which contains an EBB user guide and a sign-up sheet. You will also find customer enrollment information, which gives details on our electronic enrollment process, and a list of small commercial and residential usage codes.
