1. Billing or Service Phone Numbers For inquiries and service, please call between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, 1-800-221-0051. For emergency service, we’re available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Billing inquiries and payments can be mailed to the address and post office box provided on the bill.
2. Current Charges The current monthly charges plus any previous unpaid balances are due by the date shown.
3. Billing Type This shows the type of bill you have received and your rate classification.
4. Next Scheduled Meter Reading Bills are based on actual or calculated meter readings. Your next scheduled meter reading is on or about the date shown here.
5. Meter Reading This area of your bill is your meter information. Service Period “From” and “To” identifies the dates covered by the bill, along with the present and previous meter readings. The difference between the two meter readings determines the volume of gas used, which is shown in Ccf (1 Ccf = 100 cubic feet of gas). Charges for gas service are based on the number of Therms used. This is determined by taking the hundreds of cubic feet of gas used and multiplying the figure by the BTU Content to equal therms used and the present gas charge.
6. Previous Billing Record This area is a record of previous billing and payments, service charges, contract charges and other bill information.
7. Special Messages Look to this area of your bill for news, messages and reminders pertaining to your natural gas service.
8. Current Calculations This area shows the calculation of your current bill for this service period. (This is a sample bill. Calculations may vary according to the type of service you have.)
9. Comparison A comparison of your monthly usage with your usage during the same month of the previous year is shown here when the information is available.
10. Year to Date This gives a year-to-date history of payments and credits for budget customers. If you are not a budget customer, this area shows the amount to be paid if you’d like to select the budget option.
11. Mail In Portion Detach this white portion of your bill and send it in with your gas bill payment.
