(Summer home, pool heater, etc.)
It’s a good idea to start thinking about restoring natural gas service to your summer property as early as April. We receive many seasonal requests, especially for the Memorial Day and Fourth of July holidays. To turn your seasonal service on, please login (or register) to My Account Information. You will need your New Jersey Natural Gas account number to schedule your order. Or, you may complete and submit the form below. We require at least ten (10) business days notice in advance and appointments are scheduled in the order that they are received.
Access must be provided to your meter(s) and all gas appliances. For safety measures, a trained NJNG employee must enter your home and light all appliances. There must be someone 18 years of age or over available to allow our employee to gain entry.
Charges
A $15.00 “account opening” charge will appear on your first bill after the service is turned on. We may request a security deposit if satisfactory credit has not been established. During each month that your service is on, you will receive a bill that includes a minimal customer charge for service-related costs, such as bill processing and customer service, even if no actual natural gas is used.
You’ll receive an e-mail confirmation from NJNG. While we do our best to accommodate your schedule, we can’t guarantee that the date and time you request will be available.
