Strengthening our communities by supporting new and growing businesses is what our Economic Development Program is all about. We've assisted more than 340 businesses that have saved over $800,000 on their monthly natural gas bills. These businesses contribute to the economic vitality of our communities and create jobs.

New Jersey Natural Gas offers eligible businesses an economic development incentive discount, which translates into savings on monthly natural gas bills for up to three years.

To qualify for the discount you must:

• Contact our Economic Development office at 732-938-1217 to apply for this incentive discount prior to executing an agreement for firm natural gas service with a New Jersey Natural Gas representative.
• Have at least two permanent, full-time employees.
• Establish your business in a building that is new or has been vacant for at least one year. (Existing customers who expand by more than 5,000 square feet may qualify for savings, too.)

Even if you're not using natural gas for your business, you may benefit from incentives when you convert to natural gas.
