New Jersey Natural Gas is pleased to offer a new, unique fundraising opportunity for your organization. Up to $5,000 can be earned in just three months through NJNG’s Conserve to Preserve® Community Rewards program. Not only will you help raise money for your organization, but you will help your members to reduce their energy use and protect the environment at the same time.
You can raise money by encouraging those affiliated with your organization, along with their friends, family and neighbors, to sign up for our new Conserve to Preserve Dashboard. NJNG will reward your efforts with $5 for each person who actually uses the Dashboard within a predetermined time period and credits your organization for the referral. Participants can earn as much as $5,000 and the money raised can be used where ever it is needed in your organization.
What is the Conserve to Preserve Dashboard?
The Conserve to Preserve Dashboard, a FREE online tool available to NJNG customers, is a personalized home energy center. The Dashboard enables customers to track and analyze their energy use. Because the Dashboard integrates with the Home Energy Analysis provided by New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program, customers can run reports and create graphs to see where home energy dollars are spent. After answering a few simple questions about their home, appliances and living habits, users will receive customized recommendations to make their homes more energy-efficient and comfortable while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The Dashboard also enables customers to compare their homes’ energy use to homes of similar size and style in their area. They can even find out what it costs to run their appliances and how much can be saved by installing new high-efficiency models. Because the Dashboard is a living tool, each time customers log in, they can re-evaluate their energy use and track the results of any conservation efforts.

If you are accepted into the program, NJNG will send you a Community Rewards Starter Kit, which will include a sample flyer that can be distributed or e-mailed to your members and their families, friends and neighbors to encourage participation, as well as directions on how to access the Conserve to Preserve Dashboard and ideas on how you can promote the program.
