Home Performance with ENERGY STAR
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, sponsored by New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program, is a comprehensive, whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency and comfort at home, while helping to protect the environment.

Specially trained contractors, participating in the program, use state-of-the-art equipment to perform an in-depth home analysis. They test all the components of your home – heating/cooling systems, insulation levels, air leakage, windows and doors, appliances and lighting. Once completed, the assessment will show each recommended home improvement, the associated costs and potential savings, as well as the payback period.

If additional upgrades are implemented, you may qualify for rebates as high as $4,000. Through The SAVEGREEN Project®, eligible customers may also qualify for financing up to $15,000, including a 0% APR On-Bill Repayment option. Contact a participating certified contractor, or call 877-455-NJNG (6564) and speak with a SAVEGREEN representative to learn more and get started.

WARMAdvantage Program
When you upgrade to high-efficiency equipment, you can save on your energy costs year after year. Rebates are available toward the purchase and installation of high-efficiency natural gas furnaces, boilers and water heaters. Qualifying for rebates is easy. Rebates from New Jersey's Clean Energy Program will vary depending on the type of equipment and the efficiency levels but can be as high as $900 when you install a furnace/boiler and water heater at the same time. Visit the WARMAdvantage section of the New Jersey's Clean Energy Program Web site or call 866-NJSMART for more information.

Through The SAVEGREEN Project, you may also qualify for an additional $600 rebate and a free energy audit from an NJNG Building Performance Institute (BPI)-certified home energy auditor. Or you can apply for up to $6,500 at 0% APR for five years through NJNG's On-Bill Repayment Program when you install a WARMAdvantage qualified furnace/boiler and water heater. Learn more about this limited-time offer on the SAVEGREEN Web site or call 877-455-NJNG (6564) to speak with a SAVEGREEN representative.

New House

ENERGY STAR Homes Program
Homes that meet the requirements of the national ENERGY STAR Homes Program use at least 30 percent less energy for heating, cooling and water heating than the average new home. To help cover some of the additional cost of energy-efficiency upgrades, financial incentives are available to participating builders.

Any newly constructed home with natural gas heat, electric heat and/or central air conditioning can qualify for the program. Both single-family and multi-family buildings are eligible as long as they are individually metered on a gas and/or electric utility's residential service. For more information, call toll free 866-NJSMART or click here.

Home Energy Analysis
It's easy to find out if your home is as efficient as it can be with a convenient, free online Home Energy Analysis from New Jersey's Clean Energy Program (NJCEP).
