Notice of Affiliate Transactions
To ensure fair competition in the natural gas and electric markets in New Jersey, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) has established rules governing transactions by and between regulated utilities, such as New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), and their unregulated retail and energy affiliates, such as NJR Home Services and NJR Energy Services Company Affiliate Relations, Fair Competition and Accounting Standards and Related Reporting Requirements (Affiliate Rules) require that certain information be made publicly available.
This area of our Web site has been created to comply with the specific Affiliate Rules requirement of providing a means of notifying interested parties of the occurrence of transactions by and between NJNG and its retail and energy affiliates.
A complete copy of the Affiliate Rules, as well as additional information on energy competition in New Jersey, can be found at the BPU Web site at http://www.bpu.state.nj.us/.
A current listing of licensed energy providers in the State can be found on the NJNG Web site.
