To ensure fair competition in New Jersey's natural gas and electric markets, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) has established rules governing transactions by and between regulated utilities, such as New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), and their unregulated retail and energy affiliates, such as NJR Home Services and NJR Energy Services. Company Affiliate Relations, Fair Competition and Accounting Standards and Related Reporting Requirements (Affiliate Rules) require that specific information be made publicly available.

This area of our Web site was created to comply with specific Affiliate Rules that require a means by which to notify interested parties of a transaction occurrence by, and between, NJNG and its retail and energy affiliates.
